As the founding visionary for On-Mission Diagnostics (OMD), Chip has seen his 15 + years of educational leadership culminate in the opportunity to come alongside schools to assist their daily efforts towards mission fidelity. After years of working through platitudinal approaches for keeping a school focused on its mission in day-to-day life, Chip has spearheaded an effort to create a resource for schools that moves from the subjective to data-driven diagnostics that will offer school’s (and their constituencies) confidence that they are who they say they are in each key operational area of their school. Together with Dr. Stephen Robinson and several other life-long school leaders, Chip has spent the last year developing and fine-tuning the OMD program for maximum impact on schools of all shapes and sizes.

In addition, Chip has spent the past 15 years in various forms of leadership with classical Christian schools, including acting as the founding President of The Habersham School in Savannah, GA (launched in August 2012) where he spent the past 8 years of his educational career. Since its founding, The Habersham School has developed into a fully accredited top-tier academic program (PreK-12) with award-winning Fine Arts and Athletics programs to complement the Student House System for developing healthy relational culture. During this time Chip put additional emphasis on building a strategic network for the school in the greater Savannah community, developing a Board of Trustees, enacting a Capital Campaign for the purchase of needed facilities, as well as overseeing the marketing for the school.
At a more acute level of classical school development, Chip has invested time in building the Humanities program for several classical Logic and Rhetoric Schools as well as completed several workshops emphasizing best practices for building out a classical Rhetoric School. In addition to macro development, Chip has been intimately involved in the classical classroom as he has written or taught 15 different courses including:
Omnibus I Theology, Omnibus II Theology, Omnibus IVb Theology, Omnibus I Literature, Omnibus II Literature, Omnibus I History, Omnibus II History, American Theology, American Literature, Politics and Ethics, Formal Logic, Informal Logic, Theological Aesthetics, Theological Foundations, Apologetics
Chip is also an acting Co-Founder of PRIVATE SCHOOL COLLOQUIUM, an international forum provided to academic school personnel to facilitate dialogue on “Timely Topics” that affect the independence of private schools and thus, create new challenges for mission fidelity.
