Dr. Stephen P. Robinson, and his wife Rhonda, maintain their primary residence in Roswell, Georgia. He is a global educator with a career in universities, independent schools, and a school association. He welcomes opportunities to help school leaders and boards think strategically about global education, enrollment management, technology, and financial sustainability initiatives.
Since July 2015 Stephen and Rhonda have served as educational missionaries in Honduras. In this role they have supported a variety of educational initiatives as well as working on a variety of strategic initiatives with the seven Bilingual Episcopal Schools of Honduras.
Prior to moving to Honduras, Stephen was the President of the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS), where he led one of the largest independent school regional accrediting associations, serving and accrediting approximately 380 independent schools in 14 states and four countries.
Stephen earned a B.A. in Religion and an M.A. in General Education from Southern Nazarene University, where he competed successfully as an intercollegiate basketball player. He earned a Ph.D. in Applied Behavioral Studies in Education from Oklahoma State University.
Stephen’s approach to education is summarized by his long-standing educational philosophy:
“There is no more noble or worthwhile endeavor than to teach youthful minds and share with them the mysteries revealed by history’s great thinkers; than to assist the youthful body to be strong and healthy to negotiate the physical challenges of life; than to shape the youthful spirit into a powerful force of faith dedicated to helping those unable to help themselves. Educators who recognize the triune nature of students and the need to fully integrate the mind, body, and spirit through a holistic educational process, more accurately understand the essence of education.”
