 Tassos AnastasiadesSenior Consultant Dr Tassos Anastasiades is an experienced global educator.
Born in London and of Cypriot origin, he is passionate about inspiring young learners to achieve their best with their gifts – in an enjoyable environment where learning is fun and challenging. He believes in developing leaders at all levels - locally and globally. Dr Anastasiades has lived and worked in leadership positions in the United Kingdom, Cyprus, Bahrain, Kosovo, India, Dubai, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Saudi Arabia, China, Nigeria, Zambia, and Malaysia. His educational leadership experience has involved quality assurance, developing bespoke leadership training across schools, preparation for KHDA (UAE) inspections, Cambridge Schools, American curriculum, British curriculum, preparing schools for BSO accreditation, CIS school accreditations – including team visits ( also as chair), monitoring of the quality of teaching and learning and working closely with schools development targets, including personalized appraisal systems and school policy development. Dr Anastasiades has also implemented numerous projects on assessments, including GL / Renaissance - to improve teaching and learning. Dr. Anastasiades has a B.Sc. in Sciences, a Ph.D. in Biochemistry (Nottingham University), an MA in Education (Bath University), an MBA in Educational Leadership (Leicester University), and a National Professional Qualification for Headship. Dr. Anastasiades has also achieved qualifications in COGNIA and Positive Psychology and advocates mindfulness and well-being, with certification in dream therapy and aromatherapy; Dale Carnegie has leadership qualifications in IB leadership and is a regular team visitor for CIS.
